Think of a snack you have little willpower to resist. Kettle chips? Ghirardelli chocolates? That’s exactly what apples are to deer. Elk, bear, rabbits, turkeys and mice love them too, and they are all creatures of habit.

This spring, before your fruit trees form buds or 2-3 weeks after the flowers fade, protect them with liquid Plantskydd Deer Rabbits Voles Repellent. You could spray the bark and branches before the trees leaf out or the foliage once it flushes.

Spraying them now, before the fruits start to form, will get these creatures in the habit of avoiding your trees. The spray will last a few months, after which you’ll want to spray them again to make sure your fruit trees stay protected from animal browsing.

Since Plantskydd is OMRI Listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute as suitable for use in the production of organic food and is USDA approved for organic gardening, you can use it freely on all of your fruit trees and other food crops without worry. Just remember: Don’t spray edible parts of fruits and vegetables.
