Växjö Stift hereby certifies that we have had very good
results from treatment of plants with Plantskydd®. The damage caused
by deer have been dramatically reduced, from 40-60 percent severe damage
to almost zero.
Växjö Sift, ie. the diocese of Växjö,
is responsible for the management of about 300 estates, belonging to the
Swedish Church, totalling 185,060 acres (48,000 ha) of productive
forest. We annually use about 440 lbs. repellent, normally in solution
with water.
We have been using Plantskydd® for five years.
The plants treated are spruce (Picea Abies) and Scotch pine (Pinus Silvestris).
Treatment is done the autumn after silviculture and the 1-2 autums that
follow. Only the top of the plant is treated. One worker can treat 4-6000
plants per eight hour day, including mixing solution etc.
